Album Review: Rokstarr - Taio Cruz

It was either Drake, Jason Derulo, or Taio Cruz in the ablum battle. Rokstarr was a straight up purchase after my iTunes preview. Didn't even use the Rhapsody freebies. It was sounding like a good clubby album so I snatched it up pronto!

Dynomite - Current single....catchy. Verrrry catchy. Queue the fist pump!

Break Your Heart - INSANE! OMG do I love this song. Lyrically, musically, everything. Perfect pop song. Did I tell you I love this song?

Dirty Picture - electronica bits? Fun! Ke$ha is on this single. Don't really care for her, but its workin.

Take Me Back - This is another catchy one! Diggin it.

I'll Never Love Again - Could be the mandatory radio ballad. Kinda quick-tempo ballad. Nice. Signature "ehh" throughout too.

I Can Be - Motivational song. Not bad. Mellow.

No Other One - I like the lift in it. Probably needs a few more listens though.

Come On Girl - Diggin it. Feel like working out. I'll call it my elliptical song.

Falling In Love - hmmm...kinda feels like this could be a showtune. Like Glee could cover it. Not really my thing.

Higher - DA BEAT! But I could do without the echo, and, um, singin a little high there on the chorus, eh?

The bonus tracks are....not so much bonus as it would be a B side in the old days. The remixes are...eh. OK, enough of that.

Overall, a fun album!
