The Shuffle Challenge: #374

I'm trying to let my iPod finish a complete shuffle of my 2829 songs - but its so difficult!! I hear one song that's so awesome that I want to stop the shuffle and hop onto the album or another playlist. But Rockstar Moto is strong this week - I have the will and desire to see this thru! Today I did have another temptation. The shuffle continued today with song 374, Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder. I know this song has been covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers - and pretty well, I might add! But what I was wondering was this: is this beat the inspiration for Michael Jackson's Leave Me Alone? Its a song that will be coming up at some point on the shuffle, but I want to know NOW! OK, must not break the shuffle...so off to iTunes and Rhapsody I go!

I don't know. Its not a blatent sample, but it totally sounds like the baseline for Higher Ground.
